These terms apply to the Palm Court website and the browser version of the game (together, “Palm Court”). By using Palm Court you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
Palm Court is free to play for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the game or its content, or reverse-engineer it to build a competing service, except where the law allows it or an open-source licence covers that part (see Built with).
Play safely
Palm Court is played with real movement. You are responsible for your surroundings: clear space around you, keep away from people, pets, screens and lamps, and swing within your reach. When using a phone as the racket, hold it firmly and use a wrist strap or a grippy case. Take breaks, and stop if you feel pain or discomfort. We aren’t responsible for injury or for damage to phones or other property while playing.
Online play
When you play others online, be respectful. Don’t use offensive display names, harass other players, cheat, or interfere with the game or other players’ connections. Online matches are between the two players who share a link; we don’t monitor them.
Progress and Fuzz
Levels, Fuzz, unlocks and cosmetics exist only inside the game, have no monetary value and can’t be bought, sold or exchanged. Progress is stored in your browser; we can’t restore it if it’s deleted. We may rebalance rewards and prices as the game changes.
Ads and other services
The free version shows ads from Google and, on game portals, from the portal’s partners. Ads, linked websites and third-party services (such as the connection broker for online play) are provided by others under their own terms; we aren’t responsible for them. How data is used is explained in the privacy policy.
Fictional content
All players, tournaments, sponsors and brands shown in Palm Court are fictional. Any resemblance to real people or organisations is coincidental. Palm Court is not affiliated with or endorsed by any player, tour, federation or brand.
No warranty and liability
Palm Court is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Palm Court. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and contact
We may update Palm Court and these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date; continuing to play after a change means you accept it. Questions: palmcourt.game@gmail.com.
